The United States loses its first B-52 of the war. The Rooivalk is capable of doing a loop and thus momentarily “flying upside down”. It resulted in the loss of all 14 crewmembers, the largest singer air power loss of the war. Sadly, the enemy shot down one AC-130H gunship.
